[This is] my beloved Brio, looking awfully proud of himself, perched on the arm of the couch… Brio was my ruby-eyed dreamboat. When he died, at almost 11 years old, I felt like a widow who never wanted to remarry. That's why I only pet-sit rabbits now, rather than having my own.
