These Beautiful Baby Bunnies Came Too Close for Comfort
Via South Essex Wildlife Hospital, which writes:
It was very narrow escape for these little rabbit kits... ❤
With their mum missing, their warren had been raided by magpies, leaving their two siblings critically injured. Although our vet team tried their best, the damage done was just too much 💔
Thankfully, these two had escaped major injury, but they were far from out of the woods. Dehydrated, cold, lethargic and hungry, they were clearly missing mum and Alda and Tom set to work trying to stabilise them.
With warmth, fluid therapy and feeding with a special critical recovery solution, they slowly started to come back to us and, by the end of the day, they were looking SO much brighter! 🥰
Now under the care of rabbit orphan feeder, Sally, they are making great progress. It's going to take quite a bit of work, but we hope this lucky pair can return to the wild once fully developed. 🐇🐇
