"Pinkoo (like Momo, the Holland Lop) sits on my lap during car rides. This was her very first time going on a fun trip, so I have her in a harness (Momo rides and plays without a leash or harness) because I am not sure of how she will respond. She took it overall in stride- loafing on my lap with ears down and later splooting on me during the drive! I find that with my bunnies, it is mostly a matter of gradual acclimation combined with a lot and a lot of comfort. Being at peace myself, letting them freely sit on my lap or holding them close to my heart, helps them to feel very contained and connected to familiar comforts; then I pet them a lot for loving reassurance during the ride. This day she went to a park near my home to play in the leaves! I am lucky to have her as my companion. "
