You Were So Loved, Bunny

The Valkyrie bunnies came to bear Thor across the Rainbow Bridge to Valhalla, and my heart is broken. He was 14.5 years old and was the best bunny ever (present company excepted of course!).

I came home from work, and I believe he was waiting for me... He died in my arms and I will be forever grateful that I got to hold him when he crossed. My only prayer is that when our fur babies leave us, they truly know how much we love them.

Here he is as a leverett in April 2009, to some of the last days.
