Bunny Will Supervise the Making of the Bed

Thanks to Katherine, Rachel, Wilhelm and bunny Oliver! Katherine writes:

My sister, Rachel, and her husband, Wilhelm, had a rabbit together for many years. In fact, it was quite symbolic to their relationship and how it progressed. Oliver, their magical bun, recently passed away of cancer and they are still very sad about it. He was quite a legend and was loved by so many of their friends and family members… He has a brother bunny, Henri, who is still on the mend from losing his partner in crime.

Curious Bunny Sniffs Out the Camera

Thanks, JP, Nicole, and bunny Hummeltje! Sharp readers might recall Hummeltje from another post, in which one of her humans explained how she went from being a wild bunny to a house bunny:

Hummeltje is a wild bunny. A cat took her out of the nest when she was 5 weeks old. Luckily the cat brought her to the animal shelter Animalhome and they fed her with the bottle until she was strong enough to be placed. We are very very very happy and blessed with her!

Bunny's Not Above Trying to Steal Her Human's Food

Thanks, Elizabeth and bunny Josie! Elizabeth writes, “I looked away for a minute and Josie snagged a slice of my orange!!”

[Editor’s note: While this was brazen theft on Josie’s part, I’d like to take the opportunity to remind bunny-owned humans that oranges are not the optimal treat for buns, though just one bit isn’t likely to hurt. When in doubt, refer to the House Rabbit Society’s list of suggested fruits and veg.]
